This Wiring Pencil or wiring pen without Brake is preloaded with a Solderable Enamel Wire Bobbin or wire spool.

The original Roadrunner® Wiring Pencil prototype wiring tool (of registered design), is well balanced and easy to handle, with a long life stainless steel tip for high speed accurate wiring, even in the most confined areas.

Wire feed tension is varied by gently adjusting the bobbin supports. A full, ready to use bobbin of wire or wire spool, is supplied with each pencil.
